Paladin multiclass

so I know i’ve made a post about this before but I’m planning on playing a paladin in the next dnd campaign i’m in and i’m planning on multi classing into rogue. just for fun, I rolled the character out fully to be level 20 (paladin 9/ rogue 11) and it’s insanely broken. and idk how this combo of a dex-build paladin and a rogue, particularly a swashbuckler rogue, isn’t more popular? like both of them combine dexterity and charisma in attacks and spell casting so well, and as long as you hit you have the potential to deal sneak attack and smite damage on top of weapon attack damage. so with the level combo I have, I can do 1d8 rapier damage plus *5d6* sneak attack damage and a maximum 4d8 divine smite, not even taking into account the potential for a critical hit or fighting undead or fiends where smite damage would double. 

Additionally, the swashbuckler abilities that control an enemy’s reactions and boost your initiative really make this character great for controlling the battle field and dealing serious damage while also having the more paladin-like abilities to support allies with healing and other spells. Besides, with expertise and reliable talent combined, the lowest I can roll on stealth, acrobatics, or persuasion is a 27 which is *insane*. The combo of the justice-oriented paladin, especially an oath of devotion or vengeance paladin and the sneaky and hard-hitting rogue makes this basically a Batman build. It’s wild that this isn’t more popular lmao paladins have so much more potential when you consider things outside the classic strength/charisma mold with things like dex-builds. Granted, this is at level 20 so almost any lvl 20 character is gonna be able to do some insane things but this is particularly wild. I can’t wait to torture my DM with this in our next lvl 20 one-shot
